Seduce: to win over; attract

Yarn seduces me with her siren call. "Pick me! Pick me!" I am hopelessly enchanted by yarn and am delighted by the endless choices.

Sock Class

My latest Sock Class graduates...

It makes me happy to share my love of knitting. So of course I said 'yes' when Judith asked me to teach a basic sock class.

I struggled more with the graphics than knitting the sample sock!! But then I haven't used graphics in years. I was stuck with spreadsheets and budgeting.

The sample sock was knitted using Kollage Luscious, a blend of cotton and nylon. I am almost done with another sample knitted using Brown Sheep Wildfoote.

I have two more Sock Classes scheduled and a Basic Learn to Knit Class making a dishcloth.

I have plans for some other knitting classes (like chart reading and knitting lace) but they will come later. I'm still working on the samples for those classes while knitting socks, of course!!

Mother Daughter Tea

We arrived to a wonderfully decorated room. After greeting those we knew, we found a seat.

What a cute idea to use high heel shoes as part of the table decoration!

Everyone brought their favorite tea cup. We had a blend of darjeerling and assam tea, tea sandwhiches, scones, and little puff pastries. There was lemon curd, clotted cream, and butter for on the scones. I love lemon curd on scones!!

AND...

There was a chocolate fountain!
We dipped strawberries, pretzels, and pineapple (I did not eat the pineapple)

After much eating and chatting, there was a fashion show put on by members of the church. It was a great show.

We had a wonderful time and we wish everyone a
