Seduce: to win over; attract

Yarn seduces me with her siren call. "Pick me! Pick me!" I am hopelessly enchanted by yarn and am delighted by the endless choices.

WIP Wednesday

Sock Mate...
...working on the mate to Orange Lizzy. This sock is so much fun I can't help myself; it has now taken over as the #1 sock. All others will have to wait their turn.

Lizzy Update

I love they way this sock is working up. It is an interesting and different look to have the purl stitches on the outside. And the pattern is worked all the way down the heel. I did switch to dpns US 1 1/2 to make the foot a little tighter. (they don't make 9" circulars in US 1 1/2)
The heel turn was a little tricky. I wasn't sure I understood the directions for the heel turn. It just didn't work out right. So I did the usual heel turn but kept the purl stitches on the outside.

And it was different where the gusset decreases are placed. I love it! It is something new and different to add to my bag of tricks.

And did I mention I'm liking the color orange now? Well, at least this color of orange. Onward... to the foot.

You knew when you saw the orange yarn a sock would be started. You knew I couldn't resist. The yarn called to me and since I have no orange socks, well... they have to be made.

Needles: Hiya Hiya 9" circular, US2
