Seduce: to win over; attract

Yarn seduces me with her siren call. "Pick me! Pick me!" I am hopelessly enchanted by yarn and am delighted by the endless choices.

Home again

It's hard to believe it's been 4 weeks. We made it home last night and I'm already missing the grandkids!
Grandpa, Auntie and the two other grandkids got to come to FL to see the new baby (and to take gramma home).

The two older ones were good with the baby. LB said she is smaller than her babydoll. She did like reading her books. She is a good little mother. She made sure her chair music was turned on and she was covered up.

He held her but was more interested in playing Mario Cart on the wii.
They grow up so fast.

It's a good thing for all this new technology. We can keep in touch by internet camera, phone, emails, and pictures. Not like when my girls were little. We didn't have email. We had to rely on USPS and they were s-l-o-w (slower than they are today). I took lots of pictures for their grandparents but it wasn't the same as being there (Europe is far away and we didn't have a phone back then). So I am thankful for technology!! (Over the next months, I'll try not to whine cry too much about not being there)

Tomorrow I'll be back to knitting... I managed to work on a sock while traveling home. (oh, and did I tell you I bought some yarn at Unwind, the Yarn Shop? I'll show you that yarn later)

Did your daughter cry when you left? I always sobbed and sobbed when my mama left. Did you get a birthday cake?
