- My grandmother taught me embroidery when I was eight. When I was ten, she taught me to crochet. I learned to knit (not well) in junior high. In the 70's, needlepoint became my next art. It was while living in Italy, my English friend started me knitting again. Knitting has been my passion ever since.

I love your little lap warmer ;) Looks like he's/she's mama's baby and protector.
I started crocheting a sock over the weekend, "started" being the key word. Dunno if I'll ever finish it but the yarn sure is pretty and soft.
I was gonna buy the Heart and Sole with aloe but, for the same price, I got another brand of sock yarn that was twice as large a skein. Bernat maybe?
So, good on ya for knitting socks.
She is a good protector, lol. She barks at everything! (and then runs)
