Darn...I mean Yay...I mean SortaYay...I mean OK I'm sorta glad the fit and are not tooooo BIG! Gosh...those are gorgeous! I really like the top length, too! I may need your Garman Thingy to find my way home. Seems I've been gone a long time. Plan to be back Friday afternoon! See ya then!
It's funny how we all like to look at socks on our blog friends' feet. Who would have thought this would be the case? Over fifteen years ago, I had a ball of yarn and a sock on four needles, in my purse at a bible study. When I pulled it out, the ladies were NOT impressed. They said, "You can buy those, you know." I bet they are all noticing all the joyful sock making now.
Since I've been knitting socks, I do not like to wear store bought ones. I know we get weird looks about "how you can buy those" but once they try them on they'll never want store bought again, lol.
My grandmother taught me embroidery when I was eight. When I was ten, she taught me to crochet. I learned to knit (not well) in junior high. In the 70's, needlepoint became my next art. It was while living in Italy, my English friend started me knitting again. Knitting has been my passion ever since.
