Last night I taught a Blackwork Embroidery class for the local EGA (Embroiders' Guild of America).
Everyone was busy following the little colored arrows I drew for a fill pattern in Blackwork.
What's so great about Blackwork?
... it's reversible!!
Is it any wonder the ladies of the court in Henry VIII's time loved to show off their handwork by the intricate stitching on their cuffs and collars?!
