Seduce: to win over; attract

Yarn seduces me with her siren call. "Pick me! Pick me!" I am hopelessly enchanted by yarn and am delighted by the endless choices.

Winner!!

I probably haven't mention it before, (but I have whined mentioned it many times to my husband) I have entered numerous (a large amount) of entries in which the random number generator picks the winner. I have left comments, entered socks, jokes, etc and I am never picked.  Even when there was only 2, yes 2 entries, the random number generator did NOT pick me!!

Until now!!  I'm a winner!!!

Last month The Daily Fiber had their one year blogaversary. All you had to do to enter was leave a comment on her blog about what you find most valuable about your blog. So I did. But really didn't expect much. Well my number came up!! I won a lovely apron.
I was so excited when I heard I won. The apron has cherries on it. Yum!! I love cherries. For a closer look at the material, click here and scroll down.

I remember my grandmother and my mother wearing aprons when they cooked. I even grew up wearing aprons (to keep my dresses clean?!). When my mother went to work in the evenings, I cooked dinner (being the eldest of 5 kids). So I always had an apron.  I wore aprons even after I got married, especially when I cooked holiday meals. I had to buy my aprons because I never did learn to sew with the sewing machine (unlike my mother and grandmother who made most of my dresses).  So I was very excited to hear I won.

Thank you so much Jody for the lovely apron! I love it!!

Congrats Susan! I love the cherry apron and you look great modeling it! Seems like you have a lot of fond memories of aprons growing up too. That's a lovely giveaway to have won.
