I did get to visit two yarn shops while on this trip. (more tomorrow on the new yarn purchased)

- My grandmother taught me embroidery when I was eight. When I was ten, she taught me to crochet. I learned to knit (not well) in junior high. In the 70's, needlepoint became my next art. It was while living in Italy, my English friend started me knitting again. Knitting has been my passion ever since.

Ooo, fun new yarn! I'm telling myself I'm gonna get myself some Faroese Isle (sheep's wool) yarn real soon. Going to make something to wear around the house like a long shrug or something.
