...and a view of the back... double seed stitch
I wasn't sure how well I would like the double seed stitch on the back but I gotta tell you, I love it!
The yarn is more of a deeper green/blue (teal of course!) than the picture shows. I did take it in the sunlight but it still came out blue.
I love the little bits of sparkle in the yarn (hence the name 'Starry'). It adds to the whole sock causing me to stop and admire just how lovely the yarn is knitting up.
So far my favorite sock for 2011!

That yarn is so pretty and the cables look like fun. I've not heard of the double seed stitch. I'll have to look that up.
This is a beautiful pattern! I don't think I would ever have your patience for making these lovely socks!
