- My grandmother taught me embroidery when I was eight. When I was ten, she taught me to crochet. I learned to knit (not well) in junior high. In the 70's, needlepoint became my next art. It was while living in Italy, my English friend started me knitting again. Knitting has been my passion ever since.

I started with a zucchini, a squash, a banana pepper, potatoes, and onions.
Cool! The raised beds look terrific. I want to have this type of garden some time too. Until we are properly fenced off from the deer I have to stick to hanging planters for my veggies. Have a good weekend!
I'm looking forward to following your progress. I've never tried raised beds before what with my brown thumb and all. :) Those beautiful beds inspire me though!
