Seduce: to win over; attract

Yarn seduces me with her siren call. "Pick me! Pick me!" I am hopelessly enchanted by yarn and am delighted by the endless choices.

Teaser Tuesdays

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.
Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
  • Head on over to Should Be Reading and leave a link to your post. Then check out some of the other teasers.

My tease for this Tuesday...
Krewe of Hunters

They didn't have good new footage to show; so far, none of the reporters or their crews had been allowed on the property, and thus they had nothing new to say.  Of course, the world now knew that Charles Osgood was dead, and everyone everywhere was deliberating.  It was absolutely amusing to discover just how many people were certain that a bitter Confederate ghost had committed the crime.

Interesting teaser. I have heather Graham books but I haven't got a chance to read any.
Thanks for sharing this.

Sounds intriguing. I haven't read any Heath Graham books but they sound full of suspense if your teaser is anything to go by!

They are good books and true, they are full of suspense/mystery.

I haven't read these either. Love the teaser, though. Any book with confederate ghost/murderers has to be good!

I just love the way your current knitting project is the same colour as the cover of your current read! =D

I'm not a craftsy person myself, so I make do with coordinating my outfits to my books. My fashionista mother thinks I'm nuts, but it really is fun, isn't it? =)

Wonderful teaser and I like that you placed it on a WIP. Lovely colour.

Hmmm... Someone's been on a Heather Graham kick lately, lol. What is it you're working on underneath the book? (And BTW, love the color of those socks featured in last Wenesday's post.) Thanks for visiting!
