Seduce: to win over; attract

Yarn seduces me with her siren call. "Pick me! Pick me!" I am hopelessly enchanted by yarn and am delighted by the endless choices.

WIP Wednesday

A new project started (lol)
Fred & George socks from the "Unofficial Harry Potter Knits" magazine.
I love how it is working up so far.

An update on the variegated fingerless mitts
I'm not sure how long I'll make the cuff but I probably won't make them the 7" that the pattern suggests.

Cable Block #2
I feel I'm behind with my goal of finishing two blocks per month.  lol.

I also start another pair of mitts "Owlie Mitts" Yes they will have little owls on them.  But there is only two rounds done so I didn't take a picture of them yet.

It's starting out to be a fingerless mitt year, lol.

SQUEEEE! I must see the socks in person. These are the ones I hope to make for my mom, but I'm sure it'll be a while before I'm up to their level.

I still think the bobbles in the block are so cool. And that color... ohhhhh that color. *swoon*

Too funny about it being a mitt year. I'm hoping to tackle a set of mitts later in the year. Did you hear I've committed to a sweater? Just a toddler sweater and I have until Nov/Dec to complete it. I found the sweetest ladybug buttons from Wooly Moss Roots - I hope they arrive quickly so I can bring them in to show everyone. :D

Love the colors of your sock. The cabled square is lovely.

Nice! I'm anxious to see the owl ones. Did you see my owl hats? They'd be a great companion.

Melonie, I'll bring the sock Tues night for you to see. It is turning out great!

Thank you Janet, I'm hoping to finish up the square this weekend. (hahaha, yep I'm laughing hysterically, I have such high hope to get some knitting done)
