Seduce: to win over; attract

Yarn seduces me with her siren call. "Pick me! Pick me!" I am hopelessly enchanted by yarn and am delighted by the endless choices.

BOO!!

Did I scare ya?! No? Well... I wasn't really tryin' to scare you. Just wanted to share this ghostly dishcloth.

It is "Boo" Baby Washcloth by Elaine Fitzpatrick. It was easy and quick to knit up. The instructions are written out and easy to follow. I used US7 straight needles and Sugar n Cream worsted weight cotton in white (of course! white... ghost... who ever heard of a purple ghost?!)

Anyway...
I've been reading a lot of mysteries lately and it just seemed the right time to knit "an instant gratification" project.

The books:
(1) a new series by Carolyn Hart, Ghost At Work. A spirit comes to earth to help the preachers wife deal with a dead body on her kitchen floor!
(2) Victoria Laurie, Ghouls Just Haunt to Have Fun. A demon is released in a haunted hotel where M. J. the psychic is filming for a television show. (This one was a little scary)
(3) Wendy Roberts, The Remains of the Dead. A professional crime scene cleaner goes in to clean up the scene and the ghost of the wife appears! (Yes, so she sees ghosts) The wifely ghost won't leave her alone until she help solve the murder.

And of course I read Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum, Plum Spooky but it really didn't have a ghost. It was just "PLUM" funny!! (rolling on the floor laughing at my pun)

So back to knitting the larger/longer projects (NOT) ... you know I'm off to start a new sock project.. hehe

OH, did you know that Michael's has all of their Sugar N Cream yarn for a dollar a ball right now? Well, now you know! I'm in need of a few good dishcloths, so I'm heading over there now.

Is it Halloween already? That's a really cute cloth.

I have a few books by Janet Evanovich, but haven't gotten around to starting one of them. I really should start one for some instant gratification.

I got back to town a couple of days ago and was hoping to go to the W & C shop this Friday but going tubing this weekend instead -- ahhhhh nice cold Frio River! Hopefully see you guys sometime soon?
