Seduce: to win over; attract

Yarn seduces me with her siren call. "Pick me! Pick me!" I am hopelessly enchanted by yarn and am delighted by the endless choices.

Christmas pics

Over the river and through the woods...to the grandkid's house we go...

through the white and drifting snow!
Who would'a thought we'd have a second snow storm here!! It was hardly snowing when we left on Christmas Eve but it got worse and the roads were horrible. I am happy to say we made it (only took 7 hrs for a 4-4 1/2 hr trip!!!!) I've learned they don't have snow plows or trucks to treat the roads here in this part of TX. ??? maybe they should if we're gonna get snow (like they're predicting for today, Tues).

They got us up at 5am! so here are a few Christmas pictures...

They hardly look awake themselves but they were excited.
It was too snowy outside to ride the scooters so they rode laps around the house.

Even Ellie had fun...
and she tried to hide it from Bailey

So anyway... we made it, had a great Christmas and are now home.

The snow totally isn't normal. This is the first time since moving here in 2007 that we've had any. The stuff you saw for Xmas didn't even hit San Angelo.

The way Texas deals with snow is...sand. YEAH.

Sand?!! Those people trying to get up the hills before Granbury sure could've used some sand, lol.

Oh my! That drive is awful even in good weather! Glad you made it safely. I almost got stuck on Ranger Hill years ago.
The snow's been all around us but we still haven't had one flake here -- drat!
Kids are so cute and look like they're having a grand time ;-)
Blessings,
