Last November, when I came down for the baby shower, my daughter showed me a yarn shop that had recently opened. I was very excited because I can't remember there ever being a yarn shop in this little town. I was happy to see they had different times of open knitting scheduled.Every Thursday afternoon the shop has "Snowbird Afternoon Tea." (Snowbirds come from different states to the south to get away from the cold and snow)
Yesterday I was able to join some very friendly ladies for knitting and chatting. And of course some tea!
And of course I checked out all the yarn! (just a small view of a some of the yarns available)
I did good, but I have a few more weeks here. I'll be going back...

A good yarn shop is hard to find. Enjoy it while you can. And, go ahead and "touch" all the pretty yarn. You need to.
