Seduce: to win over; attract

Yarn seduces me with her siren call. "Pick me! Pick me!" I am hopelessly enchanted by yarn and am delighted by the endless choices.

The Sun?!

After two weeks of rain, everything is green again. Our grass is in need of cutting and it hasn't even been a week since the last cut!! The parks are beautiful and the trees have enjoyed the rain.
Today the sun is out and the temperatures are once again climbing into the 90s. All this rain is a bit unusual for us for this time of year. Usually it is HOT with temperatures in the 100s (I hear the east coast is getting hit the hot and steamy weather).

I enjoyed the past two weeks of 80 degree temperatures BUT I seem to have caught a cold. I thought it was allergies but with the rain, there is no pollen. So it must be a cold. It's hard to knit with watery eyes and sniffling all the time. So no new finished projects to show today... maybe next week.

Oh Girl...you are getting pretty fancy with that camera and mosaic/collage knowledge! Beautiful shots of the park...next the lilies? Hope your cold is better!

I love the sound of the grass being cut, as long as I'm not the one pushing the mower. Do you ever check the allergy indicator on weather.com? Sometimes it surprises you.

Collectin Texas Gal- Thanks! But I still struggle with putting the frame around it. I spent most of the day resting.

Jellidonut- Yes, I do check the weather bug pollen count. It does surprise me sometimes with what pollen is out there.

I'm so sorry you have a summer cold. Take care of yourself. Lots of tea and naps are in order.

You know people get allergies from the molds rain can cause, too. Either way, I hope you feel better soon.
