Seduce: to win over; attract

Yarn seduces me with her siren call. "Pick me! Pick me!" I am hopelessly enchanted by yarn and am delighted by the endless choices.

haircut

It was my turn. Yep, I had my haircut yesterday and then ran a bunch (as in a lot, quite a few) errands.
I had 7 places to stop by on my list. It was a long day (we went out for dinner).

On a knitting note... how many times do you swatch before you decide the yarn just isn't quite right for the project?!  Four??
I think I'll give it a try with the size US7 needles (the pattern calls for US9). The pattern calls for an alpaca or alpaca blend, chunky weight. Well to get gauge I'm using 100% baby alpaca worsted weight.  If it works out, I'll tell you what it is otherwise I'll be trying something else.

Nice cut! I wish I could decide on what to do with my hair. NOTHING somehow isn't cutting it. Ha ha. I crack myself up. Can't wait to see what you've got going there.

Swatch? Oh yeah. You ARE supposed to do that, huh?

I love your haircut and your hair color! I'm silver in front :) I need to get my bangs trimmed and want them just like yours.
I never swatch - tells you what kind of knitter/crocheter I am ;p Pretty blue yarn there, btw.

I'm only swatching because I want it to fit. If it wasn't for that, I probably wouldn't swatch, lol.

Hi Susan -- cute hair! And love that smiley face ;-)!
I only swatch for fitted things like cardigans, etc., and I almost always have to go down at least one needle size? I usually give up after 2nd or 3rd try doesn't work and go on to a different yarn. Look forward to seeing what you're making!
