My grandmother taught me embroidery when I was eight. When I was ten, she taught me to crochet. I learned to knit (not well) in junior high. In the 70's, needlepoint became my next art. It was while living in Italy, my English friend started me knitting again. Knitting has been my passion ever since.

Yay for starts! Cool photo too!
The stitch markers are Hiya Hiya. I got them at our local needlepoint/yarn shop.
You're off to a good start on all of them, Susan. I love the pattern of the scarf! How pretty! Makes it look very lacy.
Oooo, pretty things! I just saved the St Brigid socks to my favs. I think that brings the number up to about 2099 - hee hee!

Three very pretty starts to keep you busy! Love the scarf. The yarn shows the pattern really well.
