Seduce: to win over; attract

Yarn seduces me with her siren call. "Pick me! Pick me!" I am hopelessly enchanted by yarn and am delighted by the endless choices.

First Snow!

We've gone from extreme heat to cold!  And this afternoon we have our first snowflakes!!
It kinda looks like white specks all over the picture doesn't it?  Trust me... it's snow!

Don't be getting too excited, it won't last.  But it sure is pretty coming down.  Now to get my knitting out, lol.  Must be time to start working on that sweater again.

p.s.  and the roses are still in bloom!

The roses would have turned black if they were in my yard: the temperature this morning was -7 degrees F. It was bitter cold all day. Every time I went out to run errands, I could see my breath. Tonight is supposed to be even colder. Brrrrr! It is definitely knitting weather here.

Good grief! It was 77 degrees here Sat. -- Texas?!

I love the first snow of the year! It's been a long time since I've had that simple pleasure though --- I miss it!

Your picture is beautiful!

Looks like a good day to be inside knitting! We got more snow tonight. A couple inches so far, I think.

Our first snow (last month) didn't last long either. Just waiting to get whalloped with a storm. Frigid and dry here through the week, but sounds like we could see some for the weekend.

We have another chance at our first snow tomorrow night. Most of our area had their first back over a month ago, but we only got sleet!

We didn't see a single snow flake in Fort Worth! I love snow!! It's a great excuse to sit by the fire and knit.

That's a pretty picture! All we've had is rain, rain and mist.
