Seduce: to win over; attract

Yarn seduces me with her siren call. "Pick me! Pick me!" I am hopelessly enchanted by yarn and am delighted by the endless choices.

Anyone have the time?

Back to subject of time.

Oh, you want to know how I'm doing with my new phone?  Well, I did learn how to text on it.  I had the darnest time finding how to pick a contact to send a new text message.  And then my wonderful husband found there is a microphone and I can speak my text.  The cute little phone will type it in and all I have to do is hit send!  Cool, huh?!

I've discovered a wealth of ring tones I can download to my phone.  Yep, what a time suck that can be, searching for just the right ring tone to assign a contact. (still an ongoing project)

I've downloaded Angry Birds.  Yep, I love that game.  (again, another vacuum of time)

I have not even begun to use this phone to it's full potential.  How much time did it take you to learn about your phone?  Did your kids show you how to use it?

So as you can see I haven't managed to find any extra hours in the day.  In fact, I think I lost a few more, hehe.

Yep, this new blogger update has me using knitting hours trying to figure out all the new stuff.  I'm not very happy it was a forced change.  We did not have a choice.  So back to figuring out all the new things about blogger!  :whine:

Great job on mastering your phone's features.

I have yet to join the texting world.

I still need to "do" my voicemail greeting/settings. I've had my cell ... about 15 months now? Hem.

Ha! These new phones .... I am always surprised at the wealth of knowledge they possess and I do NOT! Good luck on that journey. And not to worry about paying it forward - I know that people have busy lives. I'm just flattered that you choose to follow my sputterings and fiber play at all!!!

I still haven't bothered to use my phone's "you talk and I'll do the work" feature. One of these days.

I love my Android phone and I'm proud to say I learned it mostly on my own.

I HATE the new blogger interface. It stinks!!! And...I don't see what the improvement is supposed to be. And where the heck is my picasa web tab?????

I don't like the Blogger changes either. As soon as I get something figured out, they change it again. My kids had to show me how to use my phone, but mine is a fairly simple one without all the bells and whistles. I'm not sure I'd ever figure out one of the newest ones.

The Blogger changes were one of the few things I was an early adopter for. (I dug in my heels and refused to change my FB until that one was forced....) I do not mind them and they seem to work much better for me. I would run into formatting issues on the old platform.

As for phones, I tend to figure out only as much as I need to use at the time. :)

Our phone is super-unfancy, and I keep mine mostly off. Not too crazy about the new blogger either and still haven't figured out stuff I used to know how to do. Getting old, I guess.

I didn't have a problem with my phone but blogger is giving me fits! I'm usually the one in the family who uses a phone to peek potential. When I take out my phone our kids yell, "look out, she's taking out the Smartphone!"

I was about to start a new post on blogger yesterday and I couldn't find "new post." There is something wrong with that!!

Your phone sounds like fun!

I'm not even sure if my phone will do the voice text. However, my autocorrect feature always surprises me and makes me laugh with its choices. I can't imagine what it might do with my voice texts! :)
