I am very please with this scarf. I enjoyed the pattern and yes even enjoyed fiddling with the beads! I love the color and of course the soft feel of this yarn. This yarn is one of my favorites.
Here is a close up up the pattern and the color:
It took one month and one week to knit. BUT, I also worked on a socks and dishcloths during that time. I also had to order more beads and had to wait for them. And I'll admit I also started two fingerless gloves. (I guess you can't have too many WIP!)
So I'm not disappointed in how long it took. In fact, I like this scarf so much I'm going to make another one!
For this one I will use the colorway Nancy Ward. It is a lovely woodland blend of browns and greens -- ranging from rusts into dark chocolate and from teal green into evergreen. Right now the colorway is exculsive to Earthfaire. But when I checked their webpage today, I noticed they are out of it. If you like browns and greens, keep checking Earthfaire or ask Ellen when she expects to get more.
