I've been on a fingerless glove/mitt knitting spree. So the socks have been sitting there looking at me. I moved them to the craft room and closed the door.
I'll get back to the socks after the holidays. You know there will be new mystery socks in Jan!
My grandmother taught me embroidery when I was eight. When I was ten, she taught me to crochet. I learned to knit (not well) in junior high. In the 70's, needlepoint became my next art. It was while living in Italy, my English friend started me knitting again. Knitting has been my passion ever since.

ooh, I've been on a fingerless spree too. I surprised myself with how much I liked the first pair and kept on going & going. :)
Very nice and such a marvelous color.
"I moved them to the craft room and closed the door." HA HA! That made me laugh. The mittens are really pretty! :)
The yarn is scrumptious!
Oh pretty, Susan! And we've really needed mitts around here lately - yay!
Merry Christmas!
