My grandmother taught me embroidery when I was eight. When I was ten, she taught me to crochet. I learned to knit (not well) in junior high. In the 70's, needlepoint became my next art. It was while living in Italy, my English friend started me knitting again. Knitting has been my passion ever since.

Yummy. And is there such a thing as too much purple?
NO! They are gorgeous!!
They're looking great! And if you like purple, I don't think you can get too much! :)
No way! Beautiful! I have some of that yarn in lime green waiting to be knit into a pair of socks!
Never too much purple for a TCU groupie! Our dogs even wear purple collars and harnesses. Come to think of it THAT may be too much purple!
NEVER too much purple! NEVER too many socks.
They are lovely. I really like Wildefoote. It's one of my favorite yarns.
When I see lovely purple items, I think of the poem that goes:
When I am an old woman
I shall wear purple ....
It looks great, AND reminds me that I REALLY need to start posting some of my own knitting!
Oooo, never too much purple!
